Get ready for the launch of our fortnightly 'Hearts & Craft' sessions. Hosted in Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside, these creative sessions are generously provided FREE by Rural Arts in Thirsk, thanks to funding from the Henry Smith Foundation.
What to expect? At each session you will find expert instructors and specialist support, as well as all the necessary materials provided. The sessions will explore a vast variety of crafts such as such as jewellery making, fused glass techniques, ceramics, willow weaving, silk painting, printmaking, and more!
Why join? This group aims to combat rural isolation & loneliness, with priority given to the upper age groups and carers. Every two weeks you have the opportunity to build new friendships, try your hand at some new crafts, and to be in a warm, trusting environment with refreshments provided.
